Nothing left to lose for the Titans, right?

I am really at odds with the Titans (excuse me, the owner's) decision to start Vince Young. I guess it can't get any worse than 0-6, or could it... 0-8 in a couple weeks? Yeah...

The New York Jets D just took a HUGE hit...

Nose Tackle Kris Jenkins is out for the season with a torn ACL.
What a huge loss for what had been a pretty solid Jets defense. Jenkins, all 360 lbs of him, will be as big of a loss to the Jets as the Titans loss of Albert Haynesworth to free agency. The Jets will not have a talented big body to stop the run in the middle, and I can't help but feel bad for the only Jets fan I know (JG). Sorry John.

Todd Reesing: Will he be an NFL QB?

Reesing has been pretty exceptional as a starter for the Jayhawks, but will his 5'11 frame exclude him from being an NFL starter? I would say yes. Chase Daniel was a great QB at Missouri, but because he lacked ideal height he didn't even get drafted or even make a pro roster coming out of college. I feel the same might happen to Reesing... Only time will tell. But he just fell to MY BOYS at Colorado this last weekend, which isn't a great resume starter.

Zombieland - Fantastical.....

Definitely not craptastical. This movie is a lovely example of what can go right when you combine horror and comedy. Woody Harrelson is sensational as he usually is in a comedy, Jesse Eisenberg (Michael Cera clone) is pretty solid, and Emma Stone(Superbad) is looking pretty decent with all her dark mascara.

The opening credits sequence is one of the best parts of the movie... See it to understand what I'm talking about. Period.

WOW! I can't believe my eyes!!

I thought this diva was never going to sign... As you've seen if you've been following my disdaining of him as the season has progressed.

But, like I said before... I think he deserved to get a contract in the 30 million range; and he ended up getting a 32 million dollar contract with 17 million guaranteed. I guess I have to shockingly say to "the player" - well played.
