Knowshon or Beanie: Who will have more rushing TD's this year?

This is tough because each guy has a different advantage going his way. Knowshon is more likely to be the featured guy for the Broncos this year and is the better overall athlete amoungst the two, but Beanie has considerably more size to go along with decent speed that will get him in the endzone easier. Don't get me wrong, Knowshon should be able juke around linebackers and jump over piles like Walter Payton, but the simple fact that Wells is about 30 pounds heavier than Knowshon with better speed.

Now aside from the physical tools of each guy, it's not clear whether Denver and Arizona will use an equal timeshare with other backs on each team: Hightower for Arizona, Buckhalter and LaMont Jordan for Denver. It looks like Knowshon will be more featured than Beanie because Wells is competing against a guy who knows the playbook better and had 10 rushing touchdowns last season in Hightower. So, by just a hair, I would put my money on BRO-SHON!

Wow, what a difference between 1 and 2.....

If you haven't heard in the last couple of weeks, Ryan Leaf fled to Canada to try and get away from a warrant in the US for 1 count of burglary (breaking in to a injured football player's apartment to get drugs) and 8 counts of drug violations (obtaining and delivering the drugs). He recently turned himself in, and posted bond.

Honestly, I think Ryan Leaf should have opted out of the NFL draft. If you think about it, his life has done nothing but go down since he was drafted by the Chargers in 1998. He was absolutely atrocious as an NFL quarterback, he wasn't exactly the best guy to have around in the locker room, and now he has spiraled down to being a criminal.

I wonder if Leaf looks at Peyton Manning like Ray Finkle looks at Dan Marino. Ever since Leaf met and shook Peyton Manning's hand at the draft, his life has been cursed.

Brandon Marshall: Worth the headache and money?

I definitely see both sides of this fight. Marshall is only going to make, at best, this year about 2.2 million. Larry Fitzgerald is going to make 10 million, Andre Johnson is around 7.5 million, and Braylon Edwards is about 5.5 million. Now, I'm not saying the Brandon Marshall is at the level (yet) of Fitzgerald or Johnson, but he's definitely at or above the level of Edwards. Marshall has averaged 103 catches and almost 1,300 yards the last two years, which are definitely elite numbers for a receiver and the reason he is upset about not getting a new contract offered to him.

But here's the Broncos question: Can you stay out of trouble and stop getting suspended? Plain and simple, if Marshall didn't have a rap sheet from the past he would already have his 6-10 million dollar a year multi-year contract. However, he has been juvenile and unpredictable which give good reason why Bowlen and McDaniels are not seeing eye to eye with our prized receiver.

Congrats KB 24... You are out of the shadow of a pontential future Cavalier center

You owe this trophy to Pau and Trevor. Pau Gasol got you to The Finals last year, but the improved skills of Ariza, and Pau's consistency got you to the winner's circle once again. Cheers Pau and Trevor!! You owe them HUGE Kobe; and hopefully the Lake Show will re-sign Trevor to secure your future shots at the trophy.

AND NOW: THE ALL NON-USA TEAM!!

Just off the top of my hairline....

I compiled this list

PG - Steve Nash
SG - Manu Ginobili
SF - Dirk Nowitzski
PF - Pau Gasol
C - Yao Ming

I wanted to put Tony Parker at SG, but I feel Manu at full health is who I would want in that position. Sorry Mr. Eva Longoria...

And yes, I do think that this team would CRUSH the All-American White Guy Team.

THE ALL-AMERICAN WHITE GUY NBA TEAM 2009!!

I was trying to search the back of my mind the other day when I wasn't by my computer screen to think of who the best starting 5 American White guys would be in the NBA at the present time. And this is who I came up with for now:

PG - Luke Ridnour
SG - Steve Blake
SF - David Lee
PF -Chris "Birdman" Anderson
C - Troy Murphy

Maybe Kirk Hinrich or Mike Miller...

Let's put this All-American White guy team against the All-American African-American team and see what happens... HA

Ehh... Why are you trading Nate McLouth Pittsburgh?

And getting a bunch of prospects?? Another case of the Matt Holliday situation in Colorado where you don't want to pay him top dollar? Sometimes I hate baseball...

Fantastic News... I will now be able to watch the party starter in LA!

No offense to Jay Leno, he is a respectable guy and fairly amusing. But I am SO glad to now have the party starter Conan O'Brien at an earlier time, and in LA. Sorry New York, this is truly your loss...
