I guess this means more time to hang out with Warren Buffett?
You don't want to keep letting the meager Mo Williams and company keep making you cry in Cleveland, do you Lebron? But... On the opposite end, I know that the company SportsCorp China just put in an offer to purchase 15 percent of the Cavaliers franchise. This move would be the gateway to making Lebron a billionaire by getting him global exposure into China. Well, I hope better free agents come along with the billionaire status.

So "The King" had to kneel to Superman..... But now comes "The Black Mamba"
Well, Melo and Chauncey didn't pull off the series against the Lake Show, but for good reason... "The Black Mamba" stayed consistent and led his team to the Finals.
Dwight Howard, AKA Superman, looked like the Shaq of the Lakers' championship days last night putting up 40 points and 14 rebounds to close out Lebron; he was phenomenal.
But now, we have our superfight between Superman and "The Black Mamba". I already have to predict the Lake Show will take in based on a simple two things: The Lakers have home court advantage AND more Finals experience. But maybe Superman can live up to his name and shake off the snake. You have to love the speculation...

Michael and Bill show disrespect...... In the hockey space?
In a matter of two days Bill Cowher insulted the town of Pittsburgh by wearing a Hurricanes (who lost the series to the Penguins) jersey; and MJ insulted Reebok by wearing a Blackhawks' sweater with the Reebok logo covered up to a the Chicago/Detroit playoff game.
My only question is what are a Hall of Fame NBA player and NFL coach doing at an NHL game? Don't they know that the NHL is poison for sales...

Chauncey dominance: Does this HS game remind you of Kobe for some reason?
Big Up to my boy JT for researching this one... And by the way, for all of you that don't know, Chauncey played High School ball at George Washington in Denver. Then proceeded to play two years at CU-Boulder in the NCAA. Basically he is the total CO package.

The Ultimate Stare Down
So yesterday, while I'm driving home flying my Nuggets flag on my car in good ol' Sherman Oaks, I see a nice looking Bentley pulling onto the small street of Stansbury that I'm pulling out of. The Bentley starts to slow down and I feel a glare from the bald headed man in the car. I look over to find Bruce Willis DARINGLY staring me down because he is obviously threatened by the competition that my Nuggets are bringing to the Lake Show. I mean come on BW... Have confidence that #24 and the rest of the Lakers have game. Yippee Kayaaa Carmelo!!

Smooth Criminals: Denver Nuggets
Well JC, You still have the orange...
I've only liked the Chicago Bears once before in my life, which is when they were dancing in a cheesy music video prior to their dominance in Super Bowl XX. But now that they have JC, I might have to watch them when the Broncos aren't playing. JC is a polarizing QB, and the way the ex-Vandi boy throws the pigskin I cannot help but want to keep following him.
All I can say is I really hope that Josh McD makes Kyle Orton step up and, at minimum, become a low mistake game controller that can throw a positive TD/INT ratio. But I will miss JC's long balls and swagger on the field. Oh well, the Chicago Bears are still on TV, and also in the NFC so I will be content.

Kornheiser stepping down?
Looks like MA' BOY KORNHEISER is stepping down from Monday Night Football. John Gruden will take his place. I can't say too much about this, because I think Gruden will bring the in-depth knowledge that runs through an NFL coach's mind. And plus, now Kornheiser can focus more on his pranks, jokes, and American Idol. Good move Tony, I don't think MNF was for you anyway with your puffy winter gloves and bad coats on display every Monday.

It's all Set... Barcelona/Lower Merion High School Alumni vs Colorado/Syracuse Alumni
Colin Cowherd is saying the Nuggets don't match up. Charles Barkley thinks the Nuggets are going to win the finals. I say the Nuggets should be able to take the whole thing as long as JR, KMart, and Birdman play solid/clutch. But I could say the same thing about the Lake Show. If Pau, Odom, and Bynum play well and consistant than I believe they could take the trophy. So all it comes down to is consistancy, consistancy, consistancy. Who will be the grown up team, and who will go down like a Junior High team? Only the next month will tell. But I really want to throw money on my boys from Mile High Country.

Hats off to Tisdale...
This Tisdale, not Ashley, is the REAL talent. A solid ball player and an even better Jazz musician; Wayman was a talented dude. This basketball card is what I remember of him as a kid collecting basketball cards and hustling the ladies in junior high. True story.
But I must take my Tiger Woods cap off to him for being a success in both basketball and music. Sad he died of cancer at 44.

Next Duel: Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews VS Lidstrom
Sure, I predict that the Red Wings should take this matchup and move on to the Stanley Cup again. But all you Government bailout GM fans better watch out for the young talent of Chicaaaaaago. Toews and Kane are the next Crosby and Malkin, and this is going to be another matchup of the experienced champions going up against the best young talent in the game. There ya go Boom...

Which 27 will be the Hall of Famer......
The KNOWN 27..........Atwater??......... Or the NEW 27, who has a hell of a long ways to go to beat out Steve Atwater to the Hall of Fame........... KNOWSHON??........
SIDE NOTE - There was already a RB from Georgia who was the Broncos best RB ever named TD, and he still isn't in the hall of fame. But I'm pulling for our new Superstud...... Make it happen KM. Can't wait to grab your jersey for the season........
